The husband flew us down to Austin, Texas to check out the city and the gallery and of course to meet the owner (Wally, of course) and Rachel. It was great. We love Austin so much and have vowed to go back to visit semi-often. The 30th Anniversary party was hoppin' and there were so many beautiful paintings. I definitely have my hopes set on a few artists. I was able to meet an artist I've been following blog-style Carol Marine, who was delightful. And Wally and Rachel told us where to eat and play. It was a great escape from the brain-frying summer as a mom of 3 little-ish kids. Thank you Jason so much!I don't know who this lady is, but I love that she is taking a little break by one of my paintings. We had to snap a shot....classic.
